No straps. No apps. Just dance.
The class engagement display members feel and owners can measure — powered by your studio TV and a webcam. No heart-rate straps, no student app, no extra hardware. Just a 5-minute install.
Most studio TVs play music videos.
They could be working a lot harder.
DanceFitness turns the TV you already own into a live engagement layer. The room sees its own pulse. Owners get session-level data their booking software doesn't expose. Members feel the class — and come back.
Engagement members feel
A live pulse and calorie display on the studio TV. The class can see itself perform — the single biggest retention driver across boutique fitness.
Data owners can act on
Per-class summaries. Peak moments. Average pulse over time. Visibility your booking software can't give you.
AI that scales with you
Body tracking up to 6 dancers today, with a live anonymous in-class leaderboard ranking the room's top performers. Per-member coaching and form feedback rolling out to early studios over the next season.
Members come back when they can see their effort.
Boutique fitness brands that put live effort tracking on the studio TV consistently report higher retention and class-pack repurchase rates. DanceFitness brings the same engagement loop to dance — without the strap.
Sources: published industry data from MyZone, Orange Theory Fitness, and ClubIntel boutique reports (2022–2024). DanceFitness has not yet published its own retention numbers — we'll add them as our Toronto pilot matures.
One number members chase every class.
Every minute in a higher pulse zone earns more DanceFit Points. The class score climbs in real time on the TV. Members feel the room earn it together — and instructors see, at a glance, when to push or pull back.
Five-minute install.
Zero learning curve.
Mount a TV
Any HDMI display works. Most studios already have one.
Plug in a webcam
Standard USB webcam pointed at the floor. ~$60 if you don't have one.
Class lights up
Live energy, calories, peak moments — on screen for the whole class.
Try it in your browser.
Allow camera access below to see the same engine that runs on the studio TV. Or upload one of your own class videos to test how the AI handles your studio's footage. Both run entirely on your device — we never transmit pixel data.
Looks like your studio? Run this on your TV in 5 minutes.
No hardware. No app. Just your existing webcam and a TV. 30-day free trial.
What you see, after class.
Every session is recorded. Calorie burn, peak energy, dancers tracked. After every class your studio gets a 5-frame highlight reel of the top peak-energy moments — Instagram-ready, no editing. A weekly recap email lands every Sunday, monthly recap on the 1st — both forwardable to a landlord, board, or franchisor.

What Toronto studios are saying.
We ran the first class and the dancers immediately started competing with each other's pulse scores. Never had that energy before.
I can finally show my landlord data — 'peak class energy up 40% this month' lands differently than just saying the class is popular.
The setup was literally 5 minutes. Webcam into the TV, clicked Launch, and it was working. I expected it to be much harder.
Names withheld at studio request during the pilot period.
Built privacy-first.
Motion sensing runs entirely on the studio TV — pixel data never leaves the room. The only thing we save is one small thumbnail at the moment class energy peaks, used for the summary and auto-deleted after 30 days. All data lives in Canada Central. Read the full privacy policy →

FAQ
What hardware do I need?+
A TV with HDMI input plus a USB webcam pointed at the dance floor. About $60 of hardware if you don't already have a webcam. We support 4K input.
How long does setup take?+
About 5 minutes. We'll personally walk through it with the first 10 Toronto studios on a Zoom call.
What about student privacy?+
Motion sensing runs on-device — pixel data never leaves the TV. We save one small thumbnail at peak class energy for the summary, auto-deleted after 30 days. All data stored in Canada (PIPEDA-aligned). Full policy on the privacy page.
Does it work with multiple students at once?+
Yes — up to 6 dancers tracked simultaneously today. Per-student tracking with name attribution rolls out to early studios next quarter.
What if my internet drops mid-class?+
The TV display keeps running entirely on the device. Stats sync to your dashboard once the connection is back.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Monthly plans cancel any time, no contracts. Annual plans get a prorated refund within the first 30 days.
Can I customise it with my studio's branding?+
Yes. Studio name and logo appear on the TV, and tone/colour tweaks are supported on every plan.
Do my dancers need to do anything? Download an app?+
No app, no wearable, no setup for dancers. They just walk into class and dance — the system tracks everyone automatically using the studio webcam. That's the whole idea.
What kind of webcam do I need?+
Any USB webcam works. A basic 1080p model like the Logitech C920 (~$80 CAD) covers a full studio floor from a corner or wall mount. If you already have a laptop with a built-in webcam, that works for a first test too.
We run multiple class types — cardio, hip-hop, zumba. Does it work for all of them?+
Yes. The system reads movement energy, not dance style. Cardio, hip-hop, Bollywood, afrobeats, zumba — all tracked the same way. The instructor just clicks Start, and the display adapts to however energetic the room is.
We own 3+ locations. Is there a cross-location view?+
Yes. Multi-location accounts get a single dashboard that shows every location, with cross-location comparison and per-location filtering. Owners can drill from the org view into any location's history. Multi-location pricing is $149/mo per location — email the founder to get set up.
Can we export raw data to our own BI tool?+
Yes. Every studio gets a 'Sessions CSV' export from the dashboard nav covering all classes, all locations, all time — including the zone-time breakdown and instructor notes. For automated pulls (BI dashboards, franchise reporting), email us — API access is on the roadmap and gets prioritized for multi-location customers.
Can the dashboard be white-labelled / private-branded?+
The studio TV display already shows your studio name + your logo (uploaded in settings) and supports a custom points label (you can rename 'DanceFit Points' to anything). Full white-label removal of the DanceFitness wordmark is available for multi-location plans on request.
