Terms of service

Agreement

These Terms govern use of DanceFitness.fit (the "Service") by your dance studio ("you", "your"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

What the Service does

DanceFitness.fit provides a real-time class energy display for dance studio TVs. The Service estimates calorie burn, movement intensity, and pose accuracy from a webcam feed processed entirely on-device. Output statistics are stored in a dashboard accessible to authorised studio owners and staff.

Plans & pricing

Plans available at launch:

• Single studio — $199 / month, one TV display, unlimited sessions.
• Multi-location — $149 / month per location, minimum three locations.
• Annual — $1,990 / year (equivalent to two months free).

First studios joining the Toronto pilot may be offered a 30-day free trial. Trial terms are communicated in writing.

Billing

Once billing launches, charges are processed monthly or annually by Stripe in Canadian dollars. Plans renew automatically. You may cancel monthly plans at any time; service continues through the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are eligible for a prorated refund within 30 days of payment.

Hardware & setup

You are responsible for providing the TV, webcam, and internet connection at your studio. Recommended specifications and a setup checklist are provided during onboarding. If a webcam or other hardware fails, the Service cannot function but no refund is owed for outage caused by your hardware.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Resell or sublicense access without written permission
• Run the Service on premises where students have not been informed about AI motion sensing

Student privacy

Before activating the Service in a class, you confirm in your dashboard that you have informed students that AI motion sensing is active. Detailed handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. The Service is provided "as is" during the pilot phase; an explicit SLA may be added once the product reaches general availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DanceFitness.fit's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost membership revenue, lost business opportunities, or hardware damage.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend access immediately if you materially breach these Terms or if your account presents a security risk. On termination we delete your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.

Changes

We may update these Terms with at least 30 days' notice by email to studio owners. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
